New Canadian Encyclopedia Article: Little Norway

Little Norway was a Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNAF) training centre in Canada that operated in Toronto and Muskoka from 1940 to 1945, training more than 3,000 personnel for the Norwegian resistance to German occupation during the Second World War. Little Norway strengthened a lasting diplomatic bond between Norway and Canada that continues to the present day.
