My new article in the Canadian Encyclopedia is about Julie Saint-Laurent, the long-term partner of King George III’s fourth son, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn (the father of Queen Victoria), She accompanied him to Quebec and Nova Scotia in the 1790s.
