I discussed food and dining during the 1901 royal tour of Canada by the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York (the future King George V and Queen Mary) and the 1939 royal tour of Canada by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Both royal couples crossed Canada by train, traveling from coast to coast and meeting Canadians from the across the country.
